The Essence impling jar is a members only item in Old School RuneScape. It holds an essence impling, a creature that players catch with 42 Hunter. Open the jar to get useful loot for Runecrafting and Magic.
Common loot includes 20 noted pure essence, air runes, water runes, fire runes, mind runes, body runes, chaos runes, cosmic runes, and a mind talisman. Rarer loot includes 35 noted pure essence, death runes, law runes, blood runes, soul runes, nature runes, and combination runes like lava, mud, smoke, and steam. There is also a 1 in 50 chance to get a medium clue scroll.
When you loot the jar, you get an empty impling jar back. There is a 10% chance the jar breaks.
The jar can also be traded to Elnock Inquisitor. One jar gets you 3 empty impling jars. You can also use these jars, along with other impling jars, to trade for a magic butterfly net or a jar generator.
The Essence impling jar is tradeable and noteable. Its Grand Exchange buy limit is 18,000 every 4 hours. It is a solid pick for players who want cheap runes and essence.
