Description

The Meat pie is a food item in Old School RuneScape. It restores 12 Hitpoints in total. Each pie has 2 bites, and each bite heals 6 Hitpoints. After you eat both bites, a pie dish is left behind. The meat pie is tradeable, noteable, and edible. It weighs 0.45 kg.

Players can make a meat pie with level 20 Cooking. First, use pastry dough on a pie dish to make a pie shell. Next, add cooked meat to make an uncooked meat pie. Then bake it on a cooking range. A good bake gives 110 Cooking experience. There is a chance to burn the pie, but this happens less as your Cooking level goes up. Pies stop burning at level 54, or level 49 on the Lumbridge Castle range after Cook's Assistant. The Bake Pie spell from the lunar spellbook never burns a pie.

Meat pies are useful for cheap healing at low levels. They can also be a task from Romily Weaklax in the Cooks' Guild, and three meat pies are given when starting the Nature Spirit quest.
