Description
The bane square shield + 1 is a tier 76 melee shield in RuneScape 3. It is a bane square shield that has been upgraded one time with bane bars. You need level 80 Defence to wear it. This item is for members only.
The shield gives 347.6 armour. It is a solid pick for players who want strong melee defence at this level. It can also be worn with a bane full helm, bane platebody, and bane platelegs as part of a Banite armour set.
The shield degrades to a broken state after use in combat, but it can be repaired. You can fix it with a character who repairs equipment, or for less at an armour stand or whetstone. It can also be reforged at an anvil using bane bars.
This is not the end of the upgrade path. With more bane bars at a forge and anvil, the shield can be upgraded again, all the way to bane square shield + 4 at tier 79.
The bane square shield + 1 is tradeable, noteable, and light to carry. It can also be disassembled for materials like cover parts, base parts, and deflecting parts.
