Description

The Grasping rune pouch (purple) is an upgraded version of the large rune pouch in RuneScape 3. It holds 4 types of runes at once, with up to 2,147,483,647 of each type. Necrotic runes cannot be stored in it.

When worn in the pocket slot, the pouch has a 25% chance to not use up runes when casting a combat spell. This works even on runes kept outside the pouch. It also gives a +4 Prayer bonus, which helps keep prayer points up longer in combat.

The pouch needs level 85 Magic to use. It is a members-only item and is tradeable, noteable, and stacks in the bank. It weighs 1 kg.

This purple version can be made by using purple dye on any other color of grasping rune pouch. It can also be crafted with level 90 Runecrafting by combining a sealed large rune pouch (purple), 2,000 Croesus flakes, and 15 magical threads. Crafting it grants 10,000 Runecrafting experience. A cleaning cloth can remove the dye and return the pouch to its original color.

This pouch is a strong pick for players who cast a lot of combat spells and want to save runes.
