The Mycelium visor web is a basic magic helmet in RuneScape 3. It is part of the Mycelium web outfit and comes from the Merchant in the Polypore Dungeon. It is a members-only item that is tradeable, equipable, noteable, and disassemblable.
The visor web is Tier 5 tank armour for the head slot. It gives 30 armour, a 50 life points bonus, and small damage reduction in PvM and PvP. It works best for magic users, since it lowers accuracy for melee, ranged, and necromancy attacks.
The real value of this item is crafting. Players sew flakes from the Polypore Dungeon onto the web to make stronger magic visors. With 300 fungal flakes and thread, it becomes a fungal visor. With 400 grifolic flakes and thread, it becomes a grifolic visor. With 500 ganodermic flakes and thread, it becomes a ganodermic visor. Each upgrade needs a higher Crafting level.
The item weighs 0.2 kg and does not stack. It can also be taken apart for materials like magic parts, cover parts, and protective components. Note that a known graphical bug hides a character's beard while the visor is worn.
