Steel arrowheads are a stackable, free-to-play item in RuneScape 3. They are used to train both the Fletching and Smithing skills. Each arrowhead weighs nothing, so a full stack is easy to carry.
At level 30 Fletching, steel arrowheads combine with headless arrows to make steel arrows. Headless arrows come from arrow shafts and feathers. Each set of 15 steel arrows gives 75 Fletching experience. This makes steel arrowheads a solid pick for players who want to level Fletching or stock up on ammo for Ranged combat.
Players can also make steel arrowheads at level 20 Smithing. One steel bar and a hammer at an anvil produce a batch of 75 arrowheads and 75 Smithing experience.
Steel arrowheads can be disassembled for Invention materials. Each action uses 50 arrowheads and can give Stave parts, Head parts, Crafted parts, and Precise components.
